Bridging the gap between high-level clinical expertise and the deeply personal nature of home-based care. At Unity & Care Services, we don’t just manage conditions; we nurture lives.
Director & Founder
"When we started Unity & Care Services, we set out with a simple promise: to offer the kind of care we would want for our own families. Having worked directly with young people navigating Down Syndrome, mental health struggles, and complex behavioural challenges, I saw firsthand how much difference a compassionate, non-judgmental mentor can make.
Many families in our community face disability with silence or shame simply because no one took the time to understand their culture or speak their language. We are here to change that. By bringing empathy, counselling insights, and cultural respect into every home we enter, we walk beside young people to help them find their voice and step into their independence."
To empower young people aged 15 to 25 and multicultural families through culturally safe, mentor-driven support that breaks down disability stigma, builds real-life independence, and respects individual identity.

A world where every young person—regardless of disability, mental health challenge, or background—feels heard, respected, and equipped with the confidence to shape their own future.

We don't treat your home like a workplace; we treat your family with the care, respect, and dignity you deserve.
We honour your heritage, faith, and home rules without exception. From respecting prayer spaces to matching carers by gender preferences, your comfort is our priority.
We move away from clinical, rigid care routines. Our carers act as supportive role models and peers who guide, encourage, and walk alongside young adults.
We actively challenge the shame or isolation surrounding disability in multicultural communities, helping families embrace their rights and integrate into community life proudly.
True capacity building means teaching skills rather than doing tasks for you, helping participants build lifelong self-reliance.
Experience culturally respectful, participant-focused support built on trust, meaningful relationships, practical guidance, and a genuine commitment to your independence.
We specialise in the crucial transition period from adolescence to adulthood, focusing on mentorship, career pathways, and social connection.
We have extensive experience working with East African (Sudanese, Somali, Ethiopian), Vietnamese, Muslim, Jewish, and diverse multicultural families.
Supported by strong backgrounds in youth work and counselling pathways, our carers utilise calm, restorative communication rather than physical force or rigid rules.
We don't just support the participant; we support the whole family, helping ease caregiving stress and building communication bridges between parents and youth.
Our support workers aren't just staff—they are handpicked mentors, advocates, and compassionate carers dedicated to making a tangible difference in daily life.
