Who This Is For

This service is designed for young adults, teenagers (ages 15–25), and individuals who want to step out into the world on their own terms:

  • Youth feeling isolated or withdrawn: Young people who feel hesitant about social settings, struggle with social anxiety, or spend too much time at home.
  • Multicultural families & youth: Participants from Sudanese, Somali, Ethiopian, Vietnamese, East African, Muslim, Jewish, and diverse cultural backgrounds who want to stay connected to their culture while building community confidence.
  • Individuals overcoming social stigma: Families and participants who have faced shame or misunderstanding regarding disability and need a safe, supportive bridge back into active community life.
Our Core Values

Why Choose Us?

We make social connections safe, culturally respectful, and genuinely fun.

Tackling Cultural Stigma with Compassion

In many communities, disability is misunderstood or treated with silence. We work side-by-side with families to replace shame with pride, supporting participants to step into synagogues, mosques, cultural gatherings, and public spaces comfortably.

Cultural Safety & Respect

We honour your heritage and faith. From respecting prayer spaces and dietary preferences to offering female mentors for young women, we ensure complete cultural peace of mind.

Activities Driven by You

We don't force routine outings. Whether you love music, art, sports, gaming, or simply trying new food places around Melbourne, we plan activities around what sparks your joy.

Conditions & Real-Life Challenges We Support

We support young people and adults across a spectrum of needs with patience and empathy:

  • Autism Spectrum & Communication Differences: Supporting both verbal and non-verbal participants to engage comfortably at their own pace.
  • Psychosocial & behavioural Conditions: Bipolar disorder, psychosis, anxiety, or depression that can make social spaces feel overwhelming.
  • Intellectual & Developmental Conditions: Down Syndrome and cognitive challenges, empowering participants to build confidence in public settings.
  • Cultural & Social Reclusiveness: Gently guiding youth who have retreated from society due to fear, trauma, or past negative experiences.
